Design review
A design review of your landing page, on every run.
Copy is only half of a landing page. Every Klar review also looks at the screenshot: where the eye lands first, whether your main call to action is on the first screen, and how hierarchy, readability and imagery hold up.

Design feedback is usually taste
- Stakeholder comments on design tend to be preference: a colour, a font, a photo.
- What matters is whether a skimming visitor finds the offer and the next step on the first screen.
- Getting a structured design critique from a specialist takes time and budget most pages don't get.
What the review looks at
- 01
The first screen first
The top of the page, roughly the first 900 pixels at desktop width, is weighed most, because that's what every visitor sees.
- 02
Six areas
Hierarchy, call to action, readability, layout, imagery and polish each get a verdict: strong, partial or weak.
- 03
Issues with a place and a fix
Up to 8 issues, each with a severity, where on the page it is, what's wrong and how to fix it.
What you get
A design score
A 0–100 score and a one-line verdict, separate from the persona score, so copy and design problems don't blur together.
First glance
What the eye lands on first, and whether the primary CTA is visible without scrolling.
Fixes in one list
Severe design issues also appear in the review's main fix list, next to the copy problems the personas raised.
Strengths to keep
Up to 4 things that work, so a redesign doesn't throw them away.
Good to know
- The review judges the desktop screenshot. It doesn't guess about the mobile layout, which it can't see.
- It judges presentation, not wording. The personas and the positioning check cover the copy.
Questions, answered.
- Does the design review cost extra?
- No. It runs as part of every review.
- Can I review a design before it's built?
- Yes. Upload the design as a PNG, JPG or PDF instead of pasting a URL, and the same checks run on it.
