For PPC and paid social
Check the landing page against the ad before you pay for the clicks.
A visitor from an ad reads your landing page against the promise they just clicked. Paste the ad, keyword or email, and Klar's panel arrives from it, reads your page, and tells you which promises the page keeps, buries or drops.
Free while in beta. No credit card required.
Example with made-up data.
Paid traffic bounces when the page changes the subject
- The ad promises one thing and the page leads with another, so the click is wasted.
- Ads and landing pages are written by different people, often weeks apart.
- By the time conversion data says something is wrong, the budget is spent.
How PPC marketers use Klar
- 01
Paste the ad
Pick the channel (paid search, paid social, email and others) and paste the ad text or keyword visitors see before they click.
- 02
Personas arrive from the ad
Each persona has just read your ad. The first interview question is whether the page is what they expected.
- 03
Fix the page or the ad
Get a 0–100 match score, each promise marked as on the first screen, buried or missing, and the ad rewritten to fit the page.
- 04
Test each campaign
The traffic source is set per review, so run the same page against each campaign and compare.
What PPC marketers get
A message match score
How well the headline, visual and offer continue the ad, as one number you can track.
Promise by promise
Each claim in the ad, and whether a visitor finds it on the first screen, further down, or not at all.
Awareness stage
How much the visitor knows when they arrive from this channel, and whether the page is written for that stage.
Ad copy that fits
The ad rewritten to promise what the page delivers, for when changing the ad is faster than changing the page.
Headlines tested first
Try new hero versions in Copy Lab against the same panel before you send traffic to them.
Reviews before launch
Check a campaign page from a design or a password-protected staging URL, before the ads go live.
Good to know
- Message match reads text. Image ads can't be uploaded yet; describe the image in the message.
- Each review has one traffic source. Run a review per campaign to compare them.
- Klar doesn't connect to Google Ads or Meta, and doesn't predict Quality Score. It checks the page the way a visitor from your ad would read it.
Questions, answered.
- Does Klar need access to my ad accounts?
- No. You paste the ad or keyword. Klar only reads the landing page, like a visitor would.
- Will this improve my Quality Score?
- Landing page experience is one part of Google's Quality Score, and relevance to the ad is part of that. Klar helps you find relevance gaps, but it can't promise a score change.
- What does it cost?
- Klar is free while in beta and doesn't ask for a credit card.
